The police have taken a crucial decision in the case of the twisted Zomato delivery boy-Bangalore woman controversy.
The investigation has been suspended as no evidence has been found in the case so far.
The police told the media “We are working hard to gather evidence in this case.”
The young woman released a video on a social media platform claiming that she had been attacked.

It is learned that the zomato delivery boy also later registered a case against Hitesha Chandranee for false claims.
After the police lodge FIR and called her to show herself for the investigation only to learn she fled the city.
“The two have registered mutual cases. If there was CCTV footage, it would have known what actually happened there. But there is no CCTV camera. We cannot proceed on the basis of the allegations of the young woman alone.” he said.
Another high-ranking police official responded, “Hitesha Chandranee, who was allegedly punched by Zomato delivery boy Kamaraj, was ordered to appear for trial and but said she was going to Maharashtra. She said she was going to the neighboring state to meet her aunt. The next day, news broke in the media that she had fled the city, but Hitesha Chrandranee later appeared on social media claiming that she did not go anywhere basically telling the police were lying.
Her relatives said that Hitesh Chandrani had health problems and was currently being treated at a private hospital.
We are tracing the phone ‘network’ location to find out where she actually is. In addition, she received a report from the hospital where she was treated. We plan to continue the investigation after receiving the final report on how she injured her nose.” he said.
Now she is not appearing at the police station for interrogation in the wake of delivery boys’ complaint against her.
With this, the preliminary hearing of the preliminary case was also postponed, which seemed to be a major setback for Hitesha Chandranee.
