Delhi Capitals will be facing three-time champions Chennai Super Kings today for a place in final for the first time after beating Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday in the Indian Premier League eliminator.
The team lost both the matches against CSK this season and its over head to head record is quite dismissal. It has just grabbed victory in six out of 20 encounters.
However, it has Rishabh Pant in the team and he is in the form with bat. He could be counted as key against CSK. He has taken the sport by storm.
Apart from these, there are certain things to consider ahead of the clash.
Shikhar Dhawan is in need of just four more sixes to complete 100 sixes in IPL and Harbhajan Singh requires two more wickets to complete 150 wickets mark.
Until now just three players have reached the milestone – Malinga with 169 wickets, Amit Mishra with 156 and Piyush Chawla 150.
Similarly, if Dwayne Bravo manages getting five more wickets, he will complete his 150 wickets in IPL.
Amit Mishra would touch the mark of 100 wickets by taking four more wickets and Suresh Raina requires seven more fours to complete 500 fours in IPL and six more sixes to complete 200 sixes.
If CSK wins today’s match, it will be its 100th win in IPL.
