Kailasagiri
Kailasagiri is located at a distance of 5 km from RK Beach. The lush green parks, pleasant atmosphere, and beach view is a fantastic combination to get relaxed. From the bottom of the hill, you can reach the top by ropeway, road, and stairs. Eight out of every ten tourists who visit Visakhapatnam go to Kailasagiri.
Bhimili
Bhimili is located at a distance of 30 km from RK Beach Road, it is known as one of the oldest shipyards on the east coast. The Gosthani River meets the sea here. The tombs, lighthouses, and Buddhist monuments by the Dutch rulers are numerous in this place. The Rushikonda beach in front of it is also spectacular. It is a privilege to have the Blue Flag recognized on this beach.
Waterfalls
If you go to Visakhapatnam, waterfalls can be seen flowing at every step. Katika, Chaparai, Sarayu, Duduma, Kottapalli, Sileru, Pittalaborra, waterfalls, as well as small waterfalls, offer a whole new experience to the tourist
Araku
Tourists flock to Araku Valley which is located at an elevation of 910 m above sea level. It is lined with waterfalls, crystal clear streams, and lush green gardens. Vanjangi hill is an area in Araku. If you Climb up the Vanjangi hill in the Paderu Zone, you can experience the clouds floating all around you.
Ancient Buddhist shrines
Thotlakonda and Bavikonda are ancient Buddhist shrines located at a distance of 16 km from RK Beach. Places like Thotlakonda are always filled with tourists for their serene atmosphere.
Zoo Park
The Indira Gandhi zoological park is located 9 km from RK Beach. Many rare animals and wildlife can be found here. The Kambalakonda is a place opposite the zoo and is a major attraction for wildlife as well as adventure sports and boating.
Lambasingi
During December and January, the weather drops to around 0 degrees in Lambasingi. This area is 3600 m above sea level. It is located at a distance of 101 km from the city of Visakhapatnam. The cool breeze blows through the snow at 10 in the morning, making it very pleasant for tourists.

VMRDA Park
This is an ideal place for one to relax and explore the greenery of Vishakapatnam. spread across 33 acres the park was recently upgraded at Rs 35 crore. with basketball, tennis court, and cycling rings the place is filled with activities you can explore.
Kurusura Submarine Museum
If you take a stroll along RK Beach, you will find the Kurusura Submarine Museum, which attracts tourists. The TU-142 Fighter Aircraft Museum is located opposite it. Now the Sea Harrier Museum is also getting ready.
Ancient Borra Caves
If you are a history buff, Borra Caves are one of the best tourist attractions. Situated amidst the Ananthagiri Hills in Araku Valley, these caves are not only thousands of years old but also the largest of all the caves found in the country. Made entirely of natural limestone, these caves are kaleidoscopic, with waterfalls as well as light falling on the rocks. About 3 lakh tourists visit these caves every year.
Museum Of History
if you want to go back in time then you will have to see the Visakha Museum. Opposite To it, the Calvary Hall, the first submarine of the Indian Navy is found. The Visakhapatnam Museum displays landmarks related to Indian history.
Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Temple
Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha temple, Simhachalam is a Hindu temple situated on the Simhachalam hill which is 300 meters above sea level in Visakhapatnam. It is regarded as an important center of Vaishnavism in the ancient period.
