Vijay Mallya tweets criticism for RCB 1

Vijay Mallya criticized Royal Challengers Bangalore through a tweet after the team finished rock-bottom in the points table of Indian Premier League.

The former RCB owner said the Virat Kohli-led team performed poorly in the first half of the tournament without winning a single game.

However, later the team started winning and five games went in their favor, but was far away in terms of making the playoffs.

Kohli said, “Thank you guys for all the love & support – the entire team including the fans, the ground staff & the support staff! Promise to come back stronger next year.”

He posted a photo on Instagram from the Chinnaswamy stadium showing a banner that read, “We’ll always keep our heads high, our love for RCB will never die.”

RCB failed to grab the tournament trophy for 12th straight season.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said lately that the Congress-led government had no courage to handle IPL and elections simultaneously.

In 2009 and 2014 the tournament was not be played in India. IPL was taken in South Africa.

Modi added, “In 2009 and 2014 they said there’s election. Police is busy so we cannot have IPL. Elections are going on even now. There was Navratri, Ramnavmi and Hanuman Jayanti too. Ramzan will be here soon. But IPL is going on in the country.”
