Leaders play an important role in every field. They pick you up and push you forward towards your goal. Leadership is such a role that it touches and changes many lives. Some of the great political leaders, icons have touched millions of lives and have touched the world deeply molding a better place for everyone.

Unlike these days the olden days harbored some great leaders who worked for the cause of equality, liberalization, and freedom. Not that we don’t have leaders like Jacinda Ardern, Barack Obama, Narendra Modi who have all set standards and have played major roles in changing the economy of their countries and who also continue to make a change.

His non-violent and peaceful way of protesting against the British, breaking stereotypes, fighting for liberation and equality inspired millions of people to spread awareness, love, and the message of kindness.

The civil rights leader changed America forever. Martin Luther King Jr is the most celebrated leader figure not only in America but outside all around the world. His fight against racism, urge for equality opened the eyes of billions during a tragic and racial discrimination period.

An African American Born King Jr grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and went on from Baptist minister, social activist to one of the prominent leaders of the world.

His approach and the urge for equality had a profound impact on Americans. Especially his speech. “I have a dream” in which he addressed the people of the country for freedom during a march in August 1963 marked him as one of the greatest leaders the world has ever seen.

King Jr died in a tragic assassination in 1968 while he continued his activism. Even after 53 years of his death. His name holds the power of equality and black lives matter. He stands as a prominent figure to fight racism all around the world. The third Monday of January is noted as Martin Luther King Jr Day in America.

A man in whose period America saw great changes in politics. Who encouraged freedom, human rights.

Abraham Lincoln was a great leader who liberalized the United States of America from the slavery principles making it one of the freest and prosperous countries in the world.

Lincoln did not have much formal education, he was a self-taught, talented boy who grew up to become a lawyer and was appointed as representative for the house of Illinois.

It is during his period the country saw the rise in economy, diversity, and democracy. Despite the civil war and the threat of southern states confederation Lincoln stood alone for the things he believed in to make what today is called one of the greatest countries in the world.

Lincoln was assassinated by a confederate supporter, John Wilkes in 1865 marking the tragic end of the rule of the greatest president America has ever witnessed.
