The matches are Atalanta vs Sassuolo, Torino vs Parma, Hellas Verona vs Cagliari and Internazionale vs Sampdoria.

The official statement has no mention of when next the matches will be played.

Similarly, A Serie B match scheduled for Saturday was called off due to fear of coronavirus outbreak. The cancelling was abruptly due, just an hour before the match was suppose to start. The match was featuring Cremonese and Ascoli.

The fear to sporting world just not ends here. A Serie C match between Sambenedettese and Piacenza was rescheduled. Several more matches of youth-team and amateurs are affected in the Lombardy region.

Italy is facing the worst coronavirus outbreak in Europe. Since Friday two people have lost their lives in the country and about 130 others are found to be infected.

The Italian government has banned public events and schools and universities have been shut in the worst affected areas.

Meanwhile, Internazionale coach Antonio Conte said the rescheduling gives them more time to prepare as their last game was played just 72 hours before in Bulgaria in the Europa League.
