The second phase of corona vaccination has started from today. With this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also taken the first dose of the Corona vaccine.

The staff of the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) in Delhi gave the first dose to the Prime Minister on Monday morning.

The Prime Minister took the covaxin vaccine developed by Bharat Biotech.

 On the occasion, Prime Minister Modi once again lauded the efforts and services of doctors and scientists in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to announce that he had been vaccinated. “The efforts and services of doctors and scientists in the fight against Covid-19 are commendable. They are working collectively to strengthen the fight against coronavirus. Let all deserving people be vaccinated against corona and create a Covid-free India,” he said.

The second phase of the Covid-19 vaccination process in the country will begin on Monday, March 1.

This new campaign of vaccination will benefit 27 crore people, more than 12 thousand government. and primary health centers have been given the responsibility to speed up the vaccination, but some Large private hospitals like Max, Apollo, and Fortis will not participate in the second phase of the corona vaccination drive.

In the first phase, medical health personnel and frontline workers were provided free corona vaccines.

The registration process will start from today March 1 for the second phase of vaccination those above 60 years of age and those above 45 years of age with health problems can get registered on the Co-Win portal from 9 am on Monday and book an appointment for the vaccine.

The government has said that apps like Arogya sethu can also be used for this purpose or one can go directly to the vaccination center and get registered.

The slot booking process starts at 9 am daily and ends at 3 pm. Appointments can be booked in advance depending on availability.

A user guide on Citizen Registration and Appointment for Vaccine has been made available on the Central Health and Family Welfare Department website.
