Diana spencer or famously known as Princess Diana was the most cherished and loved royal figure in the United Kingdom. But the tragedy of her death still sulks around the world. Billions of people were shaken when she was pronounced dead but was it really an accident or was it a planned murder.
Until today the suspicions surrounding Diana’s death stand in the hay water.
So, what really happened in the life of the princess of wales. Let’s dig deeper.
Diana Frances Spencer was born on July 1, 1961. In Sandringham, England, she was born into a noble family. Her father, John Spencer, was Viscount Althorp before ascending to the throne as the 8th Earl Spencer in 1975.
She attended private school in England and in Switzerland growing up and once she was out of school she started working as a nanny, teacher, cook, and various other jobs.
She met her husband Prince Charles through her sister Sarah on November 1977 back then Sarah and Charles were an on-and-off thing and Lady Diana was just 16 years when she met Charles and he was 29.
Slowly the rumors spread that Diana and Charles were dating and in an overnight change, Diana went from living with her friends in a small London apartment to living in Buckingham Palace.
And in July 1981 Prince Charles married Princess Diana with 700 million people tuning in to watch the royal wedding it was no lesser than a fairy tale to the outside world but it was a nightmare for Diana.
The reality of royal life came out only years later. When Diana revealed she felt isolated in the royal palace and she was devastated and Charles has been never there for her. She had also reportedly developed an eating disorder. According to Diana, it had started when Charles held her waist in the public and commented “little chubby here aren’t we.” And since then she would starve herself trying to make herself presentable for the prince despite that she had also felt very alone in the palace and looked for solace in her husband who was never there.
Diana also revealed in later interviews that she had found a personalized bracelet and a letter from Camila congratulating their engagement and she had felt devastated at the moment and after their wedding when they headed for their honeymoon she felt like her husband was never there because he wore the cufflinks given by Camila throughout their honeymoon and also was very distant.
What at the time Diana had not known is that Charles and Camila had already rekindled their relationship behind the doors. When Diana came to know of this she had confronted Camila during a horse race in which Camila asked what more do you want when you have kids, all men in the world love you and Diana replied to her “I want my husband.” Which left Camila to dumbfound and is something people remember about her fierceness till day.
Diana went on doing her philanthropic world and raising charity and spreading awareness about HIV and serving people while Prince Charles was busy keeping his affair with Camila.
With all the ups and downs the royal marriage finally came to an end in 1992 when Queen Elizabeth asked Prince Charles to go for divorce. And in 1996 the couple were officially divorced and Diana remained in the Kensington palace where she had lived since her marriage with Charles and until her death.
Diana dated Hasnat Khan a British-Pakistani for a while who was described as the love of her life according to her friends, but due to differences, the couple broke up in July 1977 according to Khan it was Diana who ended up the relationship as her mother never approved of her daughter with a Muslim man.

Nervthelss Diana’s relationship with her mother was estranged and she had not spoken to her for four months by the time of her death.
After a month of a breakup with khan, Diana started dating Dodi Al-Fayed an Egyptian producer and went on a vacation with Dodi Fayed and his family to southern France.
And the last surveillance footage of the Ritz hotel owned by Fayed family shows the pictures of Diana’s arrival on August 30, 1997, and throughout their vacation, the paparazzi were following them so they decided to go to Dodi’s place a couple of blocks away from the hotel but as they ventured to their trip the paparazzi was extensively following them and Diana felt threatened.
Henry Paul, a worker for the Fayed family was escorting the couple along with their bodyguard Rees-Jones. In an attempt to escape the paparazzi the driver flew the car into the Ponte de I’Alma tunnel and drove at the speed of seventy when he was supposed to drive at 30 and in a fit, the car hit another car and crashed into one of the pillars of the tunnel.
The paparazzi who followed behind took pictures of the accident instead of helping the people in the car. By the time the police and the emergency service arrived Dodi and Paul were pronounced dead. Rees-Jones and Diana were severely injured and as Diana was pulled out of the car she said “My God, What has happened.” And it was her last words.
She was given first-aid treatment on the spot before transferring to the hospital and she was pronounced dead in the early morning. The people of the united kingdom woke up to the news of her death.
Her funeral was held on 6th September with over 2.5 billion people from all around the world watching and the Kensington, Buckingham palace was flooded with millions of flower bouquets.
Her sons harry and William walked in her funeral parade with both the sons have claimed to be the hardest thing they have ever done in their life.
Despite the claims of the accident, there are still people who believe that Diana was murdered by the royal family there are many theories to it. For instance, Henry Paul the person who was driving the car that night was said to be hired by the royal family for killing Diana because when the police looked up to paul’s profile they noticed a huge sum of money in his bank account which could have been impossible because he was making very little less money another theory is that Paul was said to have drunk alcohol before leaving the hotel and volunteering to drive the pair but the Ritz hotel footage says otherwise because Paul seemed all sobber and people also claim that Paul’s body was replaced with some drunk person body to prove the case has an accident.
It is also said that Diana wrote a letter to her former lover stating that she was scared for her life and they were (royal family) planning to kill her in a car accident just like they had tossed off her bodyguard who was also her once lover.
Muhammad Al-Fayed, father of Dodi Fayed supported the theories of where people said Diana was pregnant and was going to be engaged to Dodi soon which enraged the royal family who did not want to have any outsider especially an Egyptian Muslim in their family but the reports of her postmortem showed that Diana was not pregnant and the claims turned false.
These are just one or two theories surrounding Diana’s death thousands of theories emerged on the streets after the Princess’ death but none of them could be proven to date.
Diana died of a very minute fracture. The accident caused a crack in her lung tissue which was very rare according to doctors if she had worn a seat belt that night she could have been saved.
Prince Harry, Diana’s second son who walked away from his royal duties and family claimed that he did not want the history to repeat again. He did not want his wife Megan Markle and himself to meet the same fate that his mother has met. Both claimed to have mental pressure in the royal family besides there many racist comments directed to Meghan during her pregnancy behind the door.
