The Fault In Our Stars, what can we say? The movie was flawless, just like the book. The movie tugged our hearts and moistened our eyes, taking us to the brink.
We also saw a Bollywood adaption of the John Green book- Dil Bechara, which came out last year. The late actor Sushant Singh Rajput plays Augustus A.K.A Manny and Sanjana Sanghi plays Kizie A.K.A Hazel Grace which won so many people’s hearts.
Well, it is not the only movie; there are many other romantic movies that are just going to leave a deep impact on you, just like The Fault In Our Stars.
So, grab your popcorn, duvet, and tissues and sit down for the romantic marathon.
50/50
The 2011 movie focuses on everything that the fault in our stars did not. It shows the reality of the monstrous disease, cancer, how people with cancer suffer every day.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays his character exceptionally. This is a slow-burning and heart-burning film about a 27-year-old man who cannot cope with his cancer diagnosis.
A Walk To Remember
The Nicholas Spark novel takes a bit of a turn in the movie, but the central idea doesn’t leave the movie.
This is the story of the impulsive, uncompromising boy in high school, Landon Carter, who lands up in the community when one of his pranks goes wrong.
He meets a bright young girl Jamie Sullivan, who keeps things to herself, but things change quite rapidly when she lets out a secret.
Carter finds himself falling harder for her before he understands love and sacrifice.
Jamie Sullivan has Leukemia; Landon helps to tick off her bucket list just like how Gus does for Hazel.
Most of you might have already seen this classic movie, but it doesn’t hurt to go back and watch it again and again.
