NCP-Shiv Sena-Congress MLAs show their strength

The Pawar and Power politics in Maharashtra have continued even after induction of Devendra Fadnavis as chief minister and who is expected to prove majority on the Assembly floor.

NCP supremo Sharad Pawar warned BJP that Maharashtra cannot be taken granted as Goa and he showcased his strength at a luxury hotel in Mumbai.

At the event all his MLAs, as claimed, too an oath not to fall prey to any inducements by BJP.

According to NCP senior leader Dhananjay Munde, there were 162 MLAs of NCP, Congress and Shiv Sena Monday evening.

Addressing to the joint meeting of MLAs of Maha Vikas Aghadi the chief warned Ajit Pawar may lose his membership of the House as he had issued a whip to the party’s MLAs to vote in favor of BJP in the floor test.

Senior Pawar added that he has consulted several constitutional and legal experts and also referred earlier instances to know the technicalities on such issues.

The leader said that nephew Ajit Pawar has not legal right to issue a whip to NCP MLAs.

Sharad Pawar said Ajit has been removed from the position of NCP legislature party for joining hands with BJP and warned that those who will acquire power illegally will be removed.

Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray meanwhile asked the BJP to pave way for the trio alliance, Sena-Congress-NCP, to form the government and rule Maharashtra.

Meanwhile, BJP MLA Ashish Shelar said such identification parades of NCP-Sena-Congress cannot prove a majority in the assembly.

He added that the trio might have photograph and photographer, but BJP will win the photo finish and form government in Maharashtra.
