iPhones are super popular around the world. Duh! We all know it but the iPhone 12 series gained huge popularity in India, the iPhone 12 series which included iPhone pro, iPhone 12 pro max, and iPhone mini was released in October last year but recently the apple company decided to stop the manufacturing of iPhone 12 mini due to drop in sales.
The apple company has now decided to manufacture the iPhone 12 locally in India.
Analysts and industry sources say it will be available for purchase from April-May this year.
With this, Indian iPhone lovers are hoping that the Made-in-India iPhone 12 will be available at a lower price.
The company said it was proud to launch the Made-in-India iPhone 12 model phones in India for local customers and was committed to providing the best products and services worldwide for the happiness of its customers.
The Made-in-India iPhone 12 has been in the picture for a long time now, it was anticipated that the manufacturing of the 12th series would have started in August 2020 but due to various reasons, the production was prolonged.
Industry Intelligence Group (IIG), CyberMedia Research Ltd Head Prabhu Ram said they Expect the iPhone 12 to boost its profits with the local launch in India.
Launched in October 2020, the iPhone 12 features sophisticated computational photography as well as an elegant flat-edge design, bright viewing experience, a new ceramic shield front cover, and a wide edge-to-edge Super Retina XDR display with OLED.
The apple iPhone 12 price range starts from Rs 69,990 to Rs 1,20,000.
This is the fifth iPhone model to be manufactured domestically following the company. Apple has been manufacturing iPhones in India since 2017, including the iPhone SE. Over the years, the iPhone XR, iPhone 11, and iPhone SE in 2020 have been making some of the most advanced iPhones, including the latest iPhone 12.
It has also been exporting the products to many countries.
Apple Contract maker Wistron, a Taiwan manufactures of the Apple iPhone in Kolar resumed operations on March 8, 2021 with all the necessary clearances at its Narasapura unit, Karnataka.
It is learned that the delay in payment of salaries at Wistron Company led to some of the destructive and violent behavior by employees the Wistron company said that the damage was about 50 crore rupees but later informed the Taiwan stock exchange that the vandalism did not cause much of a significant impact in its regulatory filing.
