Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal announced 1 crore rupees for the family of IB officer Ankit Sharma who was brutally killed last week in the Delhi riot.
Sharma was 26 and postpartum report reveals his body had 400 stab wounds. His body was recovered from a drain in Jaffrabad, which was one of the worst-hit areas in the Delhi riot.
His father Ravinder Sharma accused Aam Aadmi Party leader Tahir Hussain for the murder of Ankit Sharma, who worked as a Security Assistant with the IB.
Ravinder Sharma too works with the Intelligence Bureau. He said a mob took his son away while he was on his way to home from work. He had gone missing on Tuesday. They recovered the body next day.
The AAP party has meanwhile suspended the primary membership of Tahir Hussain, who is currently at large and charged with murder and arson.
Kejriwal said, “No one, be it any party, should be spared if they are responsible for inciting violence.”
Video released immediately after the 3-day riot featured Tahir Hussain denying the murder allegations.
Bharatiya Janata Party leader Kapil Mishra too accused Tahir Hussain of murder.
Initially Mishra was accused of instigating violence in the northeastern part of Delhi with his CAA support comment.
He said, “The killer is Hussain. In the video, he can be seen the masked boys carrying sticks, stnes, bullets and petrol bombs. He was constantly talking to Kejriwal and AAP leaders.”
