WASHINGTON: Joe Biden was been heavily criticized for failing to hold a press conference after taking the oath of office as the 47th President of the United States on January 20, 2021.
On Thursday, the first press conference was held after US President Joe Biden. The 78-year-old seems to have wanted a cheat sheet when he was answering questions.
The President of the united states has been noticed by holding notes to help respond to questions.
Everyone was shocked to see the POTUS looking at the notes and answering the questions thrown at him by the reporters.
In one image, a paper showing circled photos of selected reporters can be seen in Joe Biden’s hand.
Twitter claims the Political leader had just answered questions from the list of the reporters whose names were on the cue card.
Netizens on social media satirized him with comments.
Joe Biden has been accused of using Twitter as a platform to round up photos of some journalists in a paper, giving him the opportunity to answer questions of only a select few journalists.
Many accused him of calling the names of the reporters marked in the paper and knowing in advance that they would ask questions. It simply came to people’s notice then.
The New York Times columnist Candace Owens was outraged that about Biden using cheat sheets after almost two months of preparation for a press conference.
Biden answered a number of questions at the conference on corona vaccination, border issues, and immigration policy.
Two months after Biden was sworn in, there has been criticism that a press conference has not been convened. Now after the first press conference everybody is convinced that it was staged.
