Some dieticians claim that white foods are always dangerous. But that is not entirely true.

The term white food is always dangerous and it makes you doubt what to eat and what not to eat but the term white food should only be applied to three types of food: ‘polished white rice, sugar, and salt’.

All other white foods are good for us. Instead of white polished white rice, brown rice is always on top. Also, white onions, garlic, cauliflower, white cabbage, eggplant, and white mushrooms are always good for your health. And these fall under the white food category.

Although onions and garlic are white in color, they repel cancer with their sharpness. They contain a nutrient called allicin (a phytochemical). Allicin not only prevents many types of cancer; it also significantly lowers the levels of harmful cholesterol in the blood.
