The US officials said Tehran test-fired a “Fateh-110 missile” last week during naval exercises in the Strait of Hormoz and is believed to carry a purpose of sending a message. In recent months, after renewed sanctions, Iran had threatened Washington having capacity of shutting down vital, oil-shipping waterway.
Hatami added the missile was made in Iran and nothing can stop it due to its high degree of flexibility.
He mentioned further, “Be sure that the greater the pressures and psychological warfare against the great nation of Iran, our will to enhance our defence power in all fields will increase.”
