Iran Failed To Stop The Coronavirus

Appearing in front of the cameras sweating and coughing, the leader of Iran responded to the outbreak of corona that their country is not in danger. 

Iraj Harirchi stated that “Quarantines belong to the Stone Age.”

 The Iran leader has recently been placed in quarantine due to the virus. Officials say that till now, there are 100 deaths due to the Coronavirus in Iran. 

Around 9 of the 10 cases of positive corona cases in the Middle East are coming out from the Islamic nations. The Islamic countries are reported with the 15,000 positive coronavirus, and around 853 deaths occur due to corona, and amid that, some cases are still unreported.

However, the infected people are treating and recovering from the infection, the rapid spread of the virus leads to a decrease in health. It leads to death among older people and those who have breathing problems or any illnesses. 

The negligence of the Iran officials due to elections and 41st anniversary of Islamic Revolution 1979, turnouts to increase the numbers of the virus-infected people.  

Dr. Amir A. Afkhami, who does studies on Iran, an associate professor at the George Washington University, says that “Judging by the fact that Iran has now asked for a $5 billion loan from the IMF, this speaks to how dire the situation is getting and them realizing that it’s spun out of control.” 

Even though Iran has the best Mideast medical services, the hospitals appear to be overwhelmed, and their authorities asked help from abroad to send them the 172 million masks.  

Iran authorities have also asked for financial help from the IMF to send them $5 billion, the first loan of Iran from 1962.
