- Create a zip log pouch by cutting two bottles and taking the bottom section. Take the zipper and glue each end to both the bottles and let it dry. Once done try the zipper and there you go your DIY pouch is ready.
- You can also turn plastic bottles into kitchen containers- cut the upper section of 2 bottles right below the neck and fit two of them together you can use it to store nuts, spaghetti, herbs, and such.
Composting
We throw away the unused parts of vegetables and fruits after chopping or peeling without realizing how useful they can be. You can use them in composters which can later be used in the garden.
Compost is an organic component that can be added with soil which will help the growth of plants. Food scraps account for more than 30 percent of waste. Instead of wasting it, you can use it in an organic way.

Most businesses are using an eco-friendly method of packaging i.e., Paper bags, many of the grocery stores and malls are using paperbacks instead of plastic covers but people are not really making use of it as the paper bags are delicate than are often thrown away after the first use but there are a lot of ways in which you can utilize them.
- Paper bags can be used as packing materials. When you are packing some glasses or any fragile materials you can use them instead of spending money on bubble wraps or gift bags or can also make attractive gift tags out of them.
