Unlike the olden days, the health issues among teenagers have seen a drastic reduction yet common health issues like headaches, lower backaches may not be as noticeable as they used to be but they are not uncommon. The causes for these are the lifestyle habits and choices taken by people for comfort but they aren’t what they actually tend to be. These lifestyle changes can cause tremendous issues ahead which people blindside.
Headaches can be caused due to various factors some of them may include sitting in schools/colleges for a long time, wrong sitting postures, not having proper coordination between the computer on the table and the chair, spending too much time surfing, and more.
Apart from bad lifestyle choices health problems like thyroid disorders, type-1 diabetes, vitamin deficiencies, metabolic disorders also cause headaches among teens.
Also, lack of exercise can cause various issues reports have already proven that most teenagers will be obese by 2030 this not only leads to physical health issues but can also impact mental health leading to various disorders.

Working on computers for 10 hours straight or straining your neck for video games can also cause pain due to severe pressure on the vertebrae and neck muscles in that area.
The headache problem is most common in obese teenage children. Steps should be taken to reduce obesity in teenagers. Unlike junk food/bakery items that increase obesity, teenagers should be given a balanced diet that provides all the nutrients and vitamins.
In the past, teenage children would be found active to suit their age but in recent years, there are no parks filled, no places to be roamed only place you see people of all age hanging is on their phone, phone & phone. This has led to a recent increase in the incidence of headaches due to an inadequate supply of nutrients to the spine and other bones.
Teenagers who do not get enough exercise but they do get tired quickly due to not increasing their capacity (stamina) with their physical exertion. Their neck muscles and vertebral capacity are no exception. That is why if children increase their stamina by getting enough exercise/play, problems like headaches will also decrease.
Vitamin D deficiency in children can also cause headaches which in turn reduces your immunity system and the risk of diabetes and cancer also increases with age. That’s why teenage children should be allowed to play outdoors.
If you have constant headaches even after altering your lifestyle then let’s tell you, you are doing something wrong and you need immediate doctor consultation to diagnose thyroid or other medical problems and perform appropriate tests. Based on those results the problem will be properly diagnosed and doctors provide appropriate treatment.
