Hawaii Rep Gabbard Calls Trump To Help Remove Threat From North Korea 1

Talking to host Jake Tapper on CNN’s “State of the Union” Hawaiian Rep. Tulsi Gabbard said Sunday it is time for US President Donald Trump to sit across the table and discuss with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un about building a pathway towards denuclearization, and as an aftermath to remove the threat.

She was talking in context to the false alarm transmitted across cellphone networks in the island Saturday morning about an incoming ballistic missile attack.

Gabbard added, “I’ve been calling on President Trump to directly negotiate with North Korea, to sit across the table from Kim Jong Un, work out the difference so that we can build a pathway towards denuclearization, to remove this threat.”

She mentioned such fear underscores need for talks between Trump and Kim.

Gabbard further continued that Trump must drop the conditions for Pyongyang to give up the nuclear weapons before attending meeting.

She said, “They see it as the only deterrent against the US coming in and overthrowing their regime there.”

At 8:01 a.m. (local time) on Saturday people in Hawaii thought the day is end of their life. Across cellphone networks a message was transmitted warning everyone to take immediate shelter and it is not a drill.

Everyone believed, for 38 minutes, missiles were streaming across the sky with the unusual erroneous alert.

The state’s emergency management agency warned people that ballistic missile threat inbound to Hawaii.
