Filmmaker, director Omung Kumar B is currently busy traveling through several locations of Gujarat with his team amid Prime Minister Narendra Modi is getting ready for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. He is making a biopic on Modi and visiting places where India’s leader spent his childhood days.
A production team source said the filmmaker is visiting lanes in Ahmedabad, Modi’s childhood houses in Vadnagar and the House of MG, which is now a heritage hotel in Ahmedabad.
It is learned Omung Kumar visited Modhera Sun Temple too along with stepwall Rani Ki vav in Patan. He was seen at the White Desert and Bhuj to keep his movie factually correct picturization.
Vivek Anand Oberoi will be seen in the role of Modi and apart from Gujarat the movie will be shot across India.
The other star casts including Darshan Kumar who worked in Sarabjit and Mary Mom with Omung Kumar.
Titled as PM Narendra Modi, the biopic is produced by Sandip Singh and will be a good attempt to narrate the journey of Modi from childhood to chief minister of Gujarat, and from 2014 Lok Sabha elections to his elevation as India’s prime minister.
Omung said the PM Narendra Modi movie is his biggest challenge as a filmmaker and for past two years he has been working on it.
The movie may release before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
