FDA World warns that Johnson & Johnson's Covid-19 jab may cause paralysis

Johnson & Johnson single-dose corona vaccine in the United States has once again suffered a setback. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recently issued key warnings against the johnson & johnson corona vaccine.

It was announced on Monday that rare neurological problems were appearing in those who have taken this vaccine. The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention said in a statement that it had received complaints from 100 people. The CDC will ask the panel of vaccine experts to review this at future meetings. However, Johnson & Johnson has not yet commented on the wrong turns of the vaccine.

Guillain Barre syndrome is a disorder characterized by damage to nerve cells, muscle weakness, and sometimes paralysis. Federal authorities have identified 100 Guillain Barre syndrome suspicious cases among those who took the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Ninety-five percent of these cases are critical.

Other common symptoms include difficulty walking, speaking, chewing, or swallowing double vision, and bowel or bladder control issues.

The FDA stated that if symptoms such as weakness or tingling in the arms and legs appear, people should immediately seek medical attention, especially if they are spreading.

Despite the fact that the risk is low, the Johnson company says the effect is three to five times higher in those who have been vaccinated within 42 days.

Experiments in the United States, Latin America, and South Africa have shown that Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine is the safest and most effective. Various experiments have shown that the vaccine works with up to 85 percent efficiency against the coronavirus.

A preliminary study also said that the vaccine worked well on the South African variant as well. US President Joe Biden praised this. In March this year, it was licensed in the United States for emergency use.

About 12.8 million people in the United States are fully vaccinated, and 8 percent of the population has received Johnson & Johnson shot. Approximately 146 million were vaccinated with Pfizer or Moderna.
