Delhi election: Kejriwal signs guarantee card with 10 promises 1

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal revealed Sunday ten promises for Delhi of his party, the Aam Aadmi Party, which is aiming to win all the seventy seats.

Delhi is set to vote for assembly on February 8. In 2015 the AAP won 67 of 70 seats.

Calling his promises as “10-point guarantee card” the CM said his party will assure 24-hour drinking water on tap in the state along with a world-class education to every child if AAP again comes to power.

Addressing to a press conference Kejriwal also promised to provide housing to every slum dweller, to clean up river Yamuma and make Delhi a clean environment.

The CM said, “This is not out manifesto. This is two steps ahead of it. These are issues that affect the people of Delhi. The manifesto is on its way. It will have the details.”

Ahead of the 2015 assembly elections the AAP party promised to lower power and water bill and now Kejriwal believes has brought it grassroot support in the state.

Kejriwal’s government has allowed free power and water to the people but limited to 200 units and 20,000 litres respectively.

The CM believes his government’s free healthcare through Mohalla clinics and revamp of state-run schools are the winning formula for his party.

Kejriwal added his government aims at bringing down the city’s pollution by 300 percent.

The party has released names of all its seventy candidates in which there are 24 new faces.
