Delhi police on Thursday registered a case against 18-year-old Greta Thunberg, a Swedish environmental activist who tweeted in solidarity with farmers who continue to fight the demand for the repeal of new agricultural laws.
Greta Thunberg’s controversial tweet about the “toolkit” to support farmer protests was quoted in a case filed by the Delhi Police on Thursday, which included charges of sedition, “conspiracy” and an attempt to “promote enmity between groups”
The police however said that their case was against the toolkit makers and did not call out particularly at Greta Thunberg.
Greta, however, did not back down at all. she tweeted that she was still declaring support for the farmers.
Two days ago, Thunberg’s tweets on farmers’ concerns and protests in India caught the attention of the international community which came out just after Rihanna’s tweet.
She was told by several celebrities in India. That it was inappropriate to interfere in the internal affairs of their country.
The Delhi Cyber Cell police have launched an investigation into the controversial Thunberg tweets. It is clear that an FIR has been registered against Thunberg.

BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi on Thursday said that the Government of India should present the Adventure Girl Award to Greta Thunberg; said the award could be given to Greta Thunberg for uploading a document on social media about a conspiracy to destabilize the country.
BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia alleged that some forces were conspiring to destabilize India in the name of supporting farmers. He spoke to the media at the party office on Thursday. He emphasized that the letter was not a signal of a formal antitrust inquiry into Indian democracy.
