A series of shootings broke out in Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia, the USA at the Youngs Asian massage parlor at 5 pm on Tuesday in the remote countryside of Georgia.

 Eight people were killed in a shooting at three separate massage parlors, the shooting lasted for an hour.

Three died on the spot and two others were rushed to the hospital. Others were seriously injured.

 Six of these women are identified as Asian-Americans.

According to police, they rushed to the spot when they received a call, when they reached the location three women were found dead at the massage parlor. There was also a shooting at an aromatherapy spa on another nearby street.

Police have arrested the suspect, Robert Aaron Long, 21-year-old, in the Crisp area of ​​South Atlanta, as the suspect of involvement in the shooting, with CCTV footage obtained from the scene.

The man is said to be from Woodstock, Atlanta, ​​Georgia.

Eight people, including six Asian women, two of the injured were white women and men and the other was a Spaniard.

Police patrols and surveillance have been intensified in areas where there are Asian-American businesses and residence in Atlanta following the shooting incidents.

Although New York has no connection with the incident, the New York Police Department (NYPD) said that as a precautionary measure, police will be stationed in additional security areas in areas where people of Asian descent live.
