Amid second week government shutdown Democrats asks to define "wall" 1

The wall is not just a wall and amid the ongoing forced government shutdown the Democrats asks for the definition of the word “wall.”

For Trump it is not a literal wall, but also not based on ideology. It is something which he seeks to look big and beautiful. It should be in the form of a strong and powerful wall even though the Homeland Security Department uses the latest science and technology to protect the borders.

On New Year’s Eve Trump tweeted, “Please explain to Democrats that there can NEVER be a replacement for a good old fashioned WALL!”

The Democrats repeats with rolling eyes, “old fashioned wall?”

The Democrats asks should not the border security use latest technologies to protect the borders and why a barrier to be defined as a wall.

However, the Democrats need to end the government shutdown to the earliest and to implement it is important to give Trump a high security invisible wall. They should draft bill to fund for the purpose and call it anything – blockade, barricade, bulwark, fence, fortification, encumbrance, deterrent or just anything. It just needs to look good old fashioned wall.

There can be some more definitions to the word wall – obstruction, palisade, parapet, obstacle, moat, limitation, impediment etc.

In fact what is required now in reality is something similar to the 2005 bipartisan immigration reform proposal that was introduced by the late senators Ted Kennedy and John McCain. Isn’t it?
