While most of us fantasy lovers are still having the Lord of the rings and the hobbit marathon Amazon has been forging the middle-earth’s synopsis.
J.R.R. Tolkien’s penned the lord of the rings and the hobbit are some of the greatest fantasy novels in the world with over 250 million copies sold, making it one of the best-selling books ever.
Originally the lord of the rings movies directed by Peter Jackson which was made twenty years ago still stands as one of the highest-grossing movie series ever with 47 awards it is regarded as one of the most influential film series ever made.
The fans were expecting other parts of the stories to be explored in the form of movies but J.R.R. Tolkien’s son Christopher Tolkien was against the idea of turning books into movies and a lot of middle-earth’s stories were left untold.
After two decades now for the very first time, Amazon Studios’ upcoming series brings to the screens the heroic stories of the fabled past of the Second Age of Middle-earth.”
This historical show is set thousands of years before the events of ‘The Hobbit and the lord of the rings take place.
It takes the audience back to an age in which the great forces and weapons were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, improbable heroes were tested, hopes hung from the finest threads and the greatest villain ever poured from the Tolkien era threatened to cover the entire world in the darkness.
Beginning during a time of relative peace, the series brings a set of familiar and new characters in the conflict of the Middle Earth fighting the most feared emergence of evil.
Many Realms and Characters, long-lasting legacies will arise from the murky parts of the Misty Mountains, the glorious forests of Lindon’s- the elven capital, the amazing Kingdom of Númenor Island, and the most remote reaches of the map.
The official Twitter account of the show had earlier sent out an image of a map along with the two messages: “One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all, and bind them in the darkness, In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.” with a Lotr on the prime hashtag.

The Second Age was the period in the Tolkien mythos in which the “one Rings”- of Power.
The Second Age, which lasted for 3,441 years, saw Sauron’s eventual rise and fall on the battle over the elusive rings.
Elves are featured prominently in the series, although there’s plenty to cover. Tolkien’s work didn’t actually spend that much time in the second period—mostly outlining the main events in the appendix to the popular trilogy.
And the show is most expectedly going to bring the familiar villain “Lord Sauron” back.
A huge cast has been amassed for the show, including Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur, Nazanin Boniadi, Tom Budge, Morfydd Clark, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Ema Horvath, Markella Kavenagh, Joseph Mawle, Tyrone Muhafidin, Sophia Nomvete, Megan Richards. Back on December, 30 more actors were confirmed for the season.
J. D, Payne, and Patrick McKay; joined with filmmaker J.A. Bayona who is set to direct several episodes and also is one of the executive producers. Along with the creative partner Belén Atienza. Christopher Newman as a producer, Ron Ames as co-producer/VFX producer, and Helen Shang as co-producer/writer.

The series was set to shoot last year but due to the pandemic like every other thing, it was shutoff currently the Lord of the rings season 1 is in production and it has already been renewed for the next season, the cast is, of course, shooting in New Zealand at the moment.
The date of release is unclear, but speculations are it would grace the screen in late 2021.
