Ahmedabad: Team India captain Virat Kohli has backed opener KL Rahul, who failed in ongoing India vs England T20 series against England at the Motera stadium.

 Kohli states that Rahul is the winner of the match. Captain Virat Kohli has made it clear that Rahul is in the right place to open with senior opener Rohit Sharma in the T20 format.

This is KL Rahul’s second appearance in the T20 series. It is noteworthy that he made only one run in three matches combined.

 Rahul, who batted 4 balls in the first T20I, made just one run and was bowled by Jofra Archer.

Then, in the second T20, Sam Curran bowled an off-stump ball, which was caught by wicketkeeper Jos Buttler and which turned into a duck.

Fast bowler Mark Wood, who bowled the third over of the innings in the third T20I,  clean bowled KL Rahul, has he struggled to predict the ball.
