Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji actress Sejal Sharma committed suicide Friday morning. Her co-actor Aru K Varma confirmed the news. It is not known why she had taken such step, but things in her personal life were not smooth lately.
The TV actress played the role of adopted sister of lead actor Ansh Bagri aka Rocky, Simmi Khosla.
Verma said he was shocked to learn Sejal has committed suicide and it is hard to believe. The two had last met just ten days ago and she looked fine then. Later, on Sunday, both chatted on WhatsApp too.
He added, “I think she committed suicide yesterday night. Her family has taken her body to Udaipur for her last rites.”
Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji was the first TV project of Sejal. She had earlier appeared in several TV commercials. She had worked in a web series too.
Sejal was from Udaipur and came to Mumbai in 2017 with a passion to become an actress. She also loved dancing.
In one of her interviews she said since her childhood she wanted to become an actor and was an avid watcher of TV.
Before getting her first break in a TV serial she was part of advertisements for Vivo and Usha Fans. Her first was for Motorola. He acted in a web series titled Azad Parinde.
In less than a month popular actor Kushal Punjabi committed suicide due to depression.
