An incident of stabbing happened near London Bridge in UK injuring several innocent people. Police cordoned the area immediately.
London Metropolitan Police were called at 1:58 pm local time and it informed about a stabbing at premises near to London Bridge. Emergency services attended within minutes.
Initially it was reported that explosion took place near Borough Market, but later the police called it false.
Following a police incident the London Bridge was immediately evacuated and also the buildings around the scene.
Treating the stabbing as terror-related incident the police closed London Bridge in both directions as a precaution – between Fenchurch Street to the north and Southwark Street to the south.
Sniffer dogs were deployed at the scene and City of London Police urged people to stay away.
The suspect was detained and some reports reveal he has been shot dead.
