Devendra Fadnavis resigns as Maha CM

Devendra Fadnavis resigns as Maha CM claiming Shiv Sena has bowed to Sonia Gandhi with maximum common program to eliminate BJP.

After 4 days being as chief minister for the second term Devendra Fadnavis has stepped down citing the resignation of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.

Fadnavis said his party will work as effective opposition in the Maharashtra Assembly.

He added, “Shiv Sena lied to us and started talking to other parties. Shiv Sena claims to be a party that believes in Hindutva, but today, their Hindutva is bowing to Sonia Gandhi. They are swearing by Sonia Gandhi.”

Initial news suggests Balasaheb Thorat or Jitendra Anwad could be the next Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. The Aghadi party to request the Governor for oath taking ceremony tomorrow.
