Zidane leaves Real Madrid training camp for personal reason

David Bettoni will be leading the Real Madrid’s training camp in Montreal. Zinedine Zidane is learned to be leaving Spain for personal reason. It is not known after how long he will return.

The official website of Real Madrid reads, “Our coach, Zinedine Zidane, is to leave the club’s pre-season base in Montreal for personal reasons. Until he returns, the team’s training sessions will be overseen by his assistant coach, David Bettoni.”

However, sources reveal he may not by missing the first International Champions Cup of Real Madrid in the United States on July 20 at Houston, Texas, against Bayem Munich.

The team is currently in Canada and preparing for the opening match.

Zidane returned to Real Madric in March this year after Santiago Solari was sacked following the team failed to challenge in the league, Champions League and Copa del Rey.

It is believed the team would emerge stronger in next season.

Real Madrid has also signed Eder Militao, Rodrygo, Luka Jovic, Eden Hazard and Ferland Mendy.

Following the match against Bayem the team will be traveling to Maryland for a game against Arsenal. It would later face Atletico Madrid in New Jersey.

The domestic season of Real Madrid is to start from August 17.
